    They're pretty cool pistols.

    This pistol is one very clear situation where the brass IS stronger than the chamber. Many people have blown them up trying to reach velocity records.

    You can keep it as a ballistic twin to 7.63x25 Mauser Ammo, and loading data is practically identical. Best bet is to just keep shooting that military surplus ammo for what it costs, and yes, the Windex is key to keeping it in good shape.

    The ammonia in the windex neutralizes the potassium salts from the corrosive primers.

    Not windex........HOT WATER. Trust me.

    The ammonia in household windex or even the 10% ammonia found at the grocery store is not strong enough.
