Sniper's Hide is just about ready to unveil its new video service that features interactive elements.

In this video you'll find elements that are links that can be clicked on to display information in different ways. This will be used for the Online Training Moving Forward, as well as video advertising for companies who want to participate.

So, as you watch the video, you'll see the Hensoldt 4-16X FF scope on the rifle, hover over it and you can contact the US Rep for Hensoldt or visit the site. Same for the box of ammo, or the rifle. Even email me.

Play around with it, as this will become the new standard here on SH as we keep setting the bar higher and higher

Re: New Video Service with Interactive Features

Very cool Lowlight. The more time goes by the more I lean towards signing up for the online training. Keep making it better and more students will come.

Re: New Video Service with Interactive Features

The biggest benefit will definitely be the Online Training Section. However it will go way beyond that for a host of other things on here.

Many times I am asked about what I am using, ammo, rifle, scope, etc, now I can add this interaction into the video itself, so the answers are there.

I think it is cutting edge and very, very cool

Re: New Video Service with Interactive Features

Its great idea. I like the idea of pointing to the items to know what they are. Thanks for the great update to the videos.

Re: New Video Service with Interactive Features

Wooooooow. As a tech guy, I'm seriously impressed LL; that's got legs. Is it a trade secret I'd be breaking if I asked what software you are using to do that?

You really are raising the bar dude!

Re: New Video Service with Interactive Features

No real secret it was just about finding the best commercial hosting and then doing some homework.

I wanted a real alternative to You Tube and when I found this I knew it was it.

its definitely next gen stuff... its going to be my mainstay and the you tube stuff will be strictly for entertainment purposes.

Re: Sniper's Hide, Interactive Video Series

Very nice. Limited only by the amount of work you're willing to put into it.

Re: Sniper's Hide, Interactive Video Series

Looks good LL and it fixed the problem you had with the aspect-ratio using youtube.
Do you get a High Quality/HD option with this service?

Re: Sniper's Hide, Interactive Video Series

it has HD Capabilities it just depends how I use it... to save file space I have to some times use a 4:3 ratio, as well, when in TX I only have a limited amount of bandwidth and uplink so I have to make the files as small as possible.

The biggest key is, they are no longer public if I don't want them to be... and the linking and interaction.

Re: Sniper's Hide, Interactive Video Series
