I have a fair amount of experience precision shooting out to 600 yd but not past that. I have been playing with my night force 8 to 32 by 56 at 400 yd and get impacts as indicated in the picture below with the "X"

Streloc Pro says I'll run out of elevation adjustment about 800 yd. Is this a case of where you have to dial 4 elevation? What's SOP for 1,000 yd shots?

The NF 8-32x56 is not the optimal scope for 1000 yard shooting unless you’re in a controlled static environment. But it will get the job done.

I do mostly shoot static, known distance targets. I'm not a pure BR shooter, but not really a PRS shooter either.

I have been using both a hold-over method, but also dialing in my 400 yard targets to use the floating crosshair.

I'm really hoping to get to some 1,000 yard ranges soon, and "test drive" all this.

If you’re going to be shooting that gun scope combo past 600 yards a lot and are running out of elevation adjustment on your turrets maybe put a different elevation rail on it. Lots of great 20MOA rails available.
