Hello,

My name is Liam, im from Suffolk in England.

Always had a passion for rifles and have been lurking on here for a while now. Thought it about time i posted and said hello. Also thought you guys might like to see a few pics of my baby.

Im a Gamekeeper by profession so a rifle is a vital tool for my job.

I know this is a mainly US based forum, but for me the quality and calibre of rifle on here is second to none. Im not hugely up on some of technical terms on here so sorry if i get lost sometimes. I wish i could lay my hands on some of the equipment you guys can get out here, but UK laws are some what different

Please note the adaptor on the rear of the scope for NV, and hence the rather long butt pad.

Here the NV is fitted. Its made by Starlight NV, here in the UK.

Hello Liam

Just saw your post....always good to see another Brit here...safety in numbers

There's a lot of really good guys here and lots to read and learn.

If you can't find what you need, help is easy to find. (Just make sure you do your homework before posting any questions as the Hide can be a little unforgiving on anyone expecting to be spoon fed

All the best

Welcome! Nice looking stick! Lol, don't worry about the look of the spacers on the butt pad. You should see my rifle, half rifle, half spacers to fit my gorilla arms. I'm using everyone AI provided and probably could use one more.

HaHaHa don't take it personally. I'm actually sick and tired of the Brits right now. All that Royal Wedding BS is ruining real news coverage.I hope I don't get banned for that! If I was a British subject I'd be pissed off having to pay for all that fluff, security, etc.

How big is the game preserve that you look after in square miles?

Re: Newbie from UK saying hello

Hoyla,

Welcome indeed to these forums. Been to the UK many times, mostly London and Devon areas; but also quite a bit to Newcastle. That Jordie accent up there was a tough one for me to understand I must admit; but far from where you are located.

Just had a nice young family from the UK over for Easter, 4 boys ages 2 to 8 years old and another on the way. That's a big family for the UK, correct? Nice rifle in your pics. regards, Dale.

Thanks for the welcome.

The Gordie accecnt is a tough one to understand as a brit, so it must have been very hard for you. lol

4 children is quite a big size for the uk, 2 is the norm really.
