I've been lurking around the site for a few months now, and decided it's probably time to start engaging in the community and make my rounds.
I'm originally from California, but living in WA State near JBLM since 2018, and will likely stay here permanently. I've recently gotten into long range shooting and ended up building a rig with the help of co-workers and the like. I then shot my first competition match in Moxee, WA back in October and placed 18th out of about 30 shooters, which I was honestly pretty happy with.
My setup:
6 CM Howa 1500 Barreled action
KRG-B Chassis
Spigot Mount
Atlas CAL bipod
Arca Rail
Arken SH-4 Gen II 6-24: I took a pretty big chance on this guy with the price, but I had shot my buddy's rifle with an Arken on it, and it was pretty impressive, and then also listened to one of Frank's podcasts talking up the Arken a bit, so I said "To hell with the wait time, let's give her the full send" and honestly I've been pretty impressed with it so far
At some point I'd like to upgrade, but that's later on.
