Was curious if anyone had any info on the Newcon lrm 1500 rangefinder.I am looking for a RF and this one seems intersting.

I have one, it does range out to 2500+ yards, but needs a reflective target for that. It has a rather large aiming reticle, and it is absolutely crucial to have a steady rest/tripod when lasing long distance targets (700 plus). You also have to play with where you have your aiming point in relation to the inside of the large reticle box, I have to put my targets in the upper half of the reticle box to get accurate range on targets past 500+ yards depending on the target size. I would say a good buy for the cost, but if they could put a finer aiming box in it, it would be very satisfactory.

Thanks for the info.I tried numerous sites on the web for reviews of this RF,but only found one review.Although it was favorable,I wanted to find out from folks that would really put it to the test.
