Rifle Scopes NF ATACR Question

So first NF scope I've ever ran so I really don't know the answer to this on my own. Saw a buddy today on a trip and he has the same set up Ill be running a ATACR with Tenebrax Scope caps. Anyways one thing I noticed when checking his stuff out is that when you have the ocular scope cap on whenever you really the magnification the eyepiece spins with it. Is this supposed to happen with NF Scopes when the lock ring is tightened or is this a fluke thing? Just seemed annoying since the eyepiece is moving its also spinning the scope cap back and forth.

That's how they are. It's normal. I have the AADMOUNT caps on mine and have them in a position so they don't interfere at any magnification.

I'm not sure if the tenebraex cap for the atacr has this feature but the one included with the beast allows the flip up cap to be turned separately from the eyepiece. Pretty nice feature to keep it from interfering. I have the aadmount caps for a different scope and they are extremely well made.

The Tenebraex also allows the cap to be turned. I prefer the AADMOUNT caps though, better quality and they flip all the way over.
