First off, I did a search for info/feedback on this scope, but the search results were mostly old posts from the PX.

I built a SPR using a Centurion Arms MK12 barrel, and I can’t seem to find a Leupold TS30 A2 to save my life. Since my rifle isn’t a clone, I’m looking for a suitable alternative to the clone correct TS30. On paper the SHV 4-14x50 F1 looks promising. I like that it is FFP, has decent glass, a mil reticle, illumination, and an affordable price. My only concern is quality/durability. I know NF builds good stuff, but the SHV seems to be their entry lineup, which for a lot of other manufacturers means low quality internals. Also, 90% of my search results were from guys trying to sell theirs in the PX. Is this a bad scope? I’m not looking to parachute into enemy territory with this, but I don’t want to buy something that can’t take a hit either.

(I did look at the NXS 2.5-10, but they aren’t available in FFP, personal preference)

Quality / Durability won't be an issue with the NF SHV lineup; only real negative I've heard of that particular optic (SHV 4-14x50 F1) was short eye relief in comparison to others in that class. In the end I went with a NF 2.5-10x42 NXS when I was considering it.
