Hi guys,
We are running a match/shoot at NHRPC (http://nhrpc.org) on February 21st from 1630-2100 that is perhaps a little bit different than most.
Suppressors only, and in reduced light. Both carbine & precision.
Precision shots are out to 500Y, and carbine out to 200 or 300.
Night vision welcome. I will guarantee a spot to any club member or person in the application process.
It is not a hardcore competitive style match, but more of a shoot, with accomplishments that need to be made in order to earn a commemorative patch.
Additional safety protocols will be utilized, including mandatory flashlights, chemical lights, count-offs, dope checks. The club has asked us to verify NFA paperwork or LE ID at check in.
We want the attendees to be absolutely familiar with zero/elevation settings with their suppressor attached,
and have a great time enjoying what is certainly a unique opportunity.
It's not a total darkness match. The targets will be illuminated to some degree.
We decided to have some fun with the complexion of the event. I'm sure you'll understand what I mean:
http://bhtcorps.com/SILENTNIGHT.html
Full information is there, including online registration.
Thanks for supporting the club in a really unique offering. Let's make sure it is a professional success for the club, so that we can carry the very practical but seldom seen concept forward.
