So when I sold my FAL and SCAR 17, to purchase another MWS, I decided I really don't want to run the TA 11 I had used on them, so I have enough to get The MWS, and a good optic I'm looking at the Nightforce 2.5x10, but can't decide on a reticle, my US Optics all have the GAP, which I like, and on Nightforces web site they show the 600 and 1000 velocitys which look like a good way to go, my problem is every where I look for Nightforce for sale it's either the NP-1 or MV or HV reticle, what gives? I called Nightforce but always get put on hold. Can someone explain these to me?
Thanks

I think the 2.5-10x32mm is available with the 600 yard Velocity reticle, but not the 1000 yard version (intended for other NF models). LV, MV, and HV are indications of Low, Medium, and High Velocity versions, and you should choose the one that best fits your cartridge's trajectory. In the past, NF had a calculator on their website to help determine which V reticle might be optimum.

Re: Nightforce 2.5x10 question

I have this scope in low velocity reticle on a SASS 308. Sighted in at 200 with surplus military match ammo it is within 2" all the way to 600 yds. I have not shot every 50 yds out to 600 but most of them. The pigs have not been able to tell it was off at all, they squeal and fold! I have shot beavers out to 350 yds and they die most every shot. That is a pretty small target when swimming. I think you would be well pleased with the low and 308. Zero dialing, just hold on correct line and shoot
