Rifle Scopes Nightforce 5.5-22x 50 CSTactical

Finally got the rifle today and mounted the Nightforce, one of my "battle buddies" aka youngest son, likes to help when I work on the rifles.

Scope came from Mike/Mason at CSTactical, they helped me with quite a few questions, zero stop, MLR, .1 Mil (my brain is not sharp enough for MOA).

Rifle is a Steyr SSG04 300 win mag, this will be a hunting rig and fun target shooting, I enjoyed my 7mag but I wanted to try out a Steyr after buying an AUG.

How well made are Butler Creek lens covers? I think he opened them 20-30x before I got the picture off.

Finally got to shoot this today, very capable rifle, muzzle brake does a fantastic job of reducing recoil.

Initial zero.

After adjustment.

I ended up putting the Premier 3-15 on this rifle to test it, one problem I noticed was when ejecting spent shells, they would hit the big windage knob and fall back in. This doesn't happen on my 7mag so kind of confused, its more of an up angle than out is all I can figure. Still happy.
