Rifle Scopes Nightforce 8-32x56 elevation issue......

I have a barrett 98.
I have BORS for the nightforce 32x
(got it for 700 new)!!!!!!!!!!!

ordered the optic and NF said they dont have mounts that will add the elevation that i need to shoot long range. 2000 yds..
Is barrett rings the best solution?
We kind of got into this subject in a previous poat i made but i have spent two days hearing 5 different things over here were i live. So im hoping to find someone who as actually used this set up???

From my understanding the Nightforce/BORS combo only works with one set of rings...Barrett rings. If you want it canted down I believe the only way to accomplish that is to add a canted rail on top of the factory rail b ut I'm not a fan of stacking components on big bore rifles. Call Barrett and they'll have what you need. I have a 98B and have been thinking about BORS but the optic choices and mount combos are few. I have a USO SN3 with a 20moa AADMount and it gets me approx 21 mils elevation...about enough to get me out to 1600 yards.

Okay I was told by two rifle shops here that NF makes rings for there optics that give the optic another 45 elevation. ill try calling nf again. i can never get a hold of them
its annoying


JUST GOT OFF PHONE WITH BARRETT THEY HAVE RIGS THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED FOR 15 MOA TO 40MOA. THAT SHOULD GIVE ME 105 MOA SO THATS PLENTY.

Two rifle shops may not know what they're talking about. Sure, NF may make rings but you need special rings to add BORS to your scope...rings from Barrett. Again...call Barrett and you'll get answers.
