Not at all trolling but I’m considering an NX8 1-8 or an ATACR 1-8, after having the ATACR, what makes you want an NX8 instead?

Excellent question and the only answer here is this is overscoped for the rifle it’s on. It’s an 11.5” 5.56 sbr that already has a light and ATPIAL so it’s heavy. If I want to stick with an lpvo and the nx8 is just that much lighter and smaller. I do own another nx8 that is in my mini fix 300BLK and I can attest to the quality of the ATACR over the nx8. If you are throwing it on a DMR style rifle I would take the ATACR all day. On the 300 yards and in gun I think I’m going to go back to an eotech
