Are there any other good options besides butler creek for flip up caps? And if butler creek is the only good option what sizes would I need for an F1 ??

There really aren't too many options other than Butler Creek. I like the Multi-Flex series as they are softer feeling and seem to perform better overall and offer some stretch if needed. The sizes you will need are as follows:

I have not broken any of the bulter creeks, but I am going to agree that you will go back to the bikini cover. My reasoning is that you will get tired of screwing with the cap on the eye piece being in the way when you are trying to cycle the bolt at different magnifications since the entire eye piece rotates.
