Has anyone used the Nightforce Mil-C reticle yet? Looking for a review. Trying to decide on the Mil-C or Schmidt and Bender LLR-Mil reticle. The S&B LLR-Mil is supposed to be here mid May. Not sure the Nightforce Mil-C is out yet.

Yep my delay in choosing new scope like the NF Mil-C is waiting on review of the new SB LRR-Mil and updated turret. NF Mil discount is better than S&B so that will play a factor as well, guess wait and see.

Not much of a review, but the .2 mil marks are usable/visible at 6x in my 4-16 F1. You might strain slightly at 6x using them, but they are definitely visible. 8x they become usable without any notice of eye strain. This is just a personal observation as everyone's eyes are different.

I very much like the reticle. It would also be nice if they developed the option with a crosshair or dot, (i like both for different applications), or if they developed a wind tree to go along with it.

Thanks Dthomas3523! So in your opinion the .2 mil marks do not clutter the center area of the reticle? I just worry it would cover too much of the target. I don't have access to one to see through it and can't find any video reviews.

To my eyes, it doesn't clutter much of the target. Things like that are highly subjective though. The good thing is if you get a good deal on one, if for some reason you don't like it, you rarely lose much on resale or trade value. I am considering trading mine, but it has to do with the ergonomics I prefer and not the reticle.

Have it in a 5-25x56 F1 Atacr. Love it. Not busy. .2 mil is great. Very happy after using in several matches / practice. Came from an AMG which I still have, but moved to dif rifle. Prefer the Atacr.

Do you miss the tree of the AMG? Or anything else for that matter?
I've got an AMG for match use but might move it to a different rifle and pick up a 7-35 with MIL-C for my primary match rifle.

The only time the trees is an advantage is if you have to do holdovers in the wind. I try to dial whenever I can, so I haven’t found it to be too much of a hindrance. I find that the nightforce has a better eye box and is brighter.

I like my ATACR 4-16X42 with the Mil-C very much. I also like my ATACR with the Mil-R. I even like my H-59.

Sorry, I'm not much help. :)

You're a lucky man that you're not picky about reticle choices.

Believe me, I have plenty of VERY SERIOUS 1st world problems. Reticles just aren't one of them. :)

That's a bit tongue in cheek, as I very well realize that some people have specific eye or brain issues that make some reticles horrible to use.

Had a no dial stage today. And I ran it with the mil-c on my 7-35, I don’t feel the reticle was as much a hindrance as my shooting abilities, but the ebr7 would’ve been nice for sure. It was 5 targets engage near to far, far to near, 1 shot each. The rest of the day I didn’t miss a tree really too much. Dial elevation hold wind.
