Nightforce NX8 4-32 F1 Reticle illumination

I have a new NX8 4-32x. I was checking the illumination on the reticle and I noticed there is "spill over" of the illumination onto the rest of the reticle such as the numbers and other marks. Is this something that can be adjusted or is this normal?

dont turn it to 1000% brightness?

what does it look like in a real scenario not a white wall?

i've had scope do this. but never at a brightness that was usable in a scenario
