for the most part it's (moa vs mil) irrelevant, especially if you can see your hits, how many hash marks off you are and either dial or holdover for that data. so if you're hitting 3 hash marks left, whether those are moa or mil, you just hold three hash marks right or dial that (you do want your turrets to match your reticle, which the nxs does). now if you're at the range or a competition and all your buddies and competitors are using mils in their shot calling, wind calling ,etc, then you'd probably want to get a scope in mils. if most are using moa then that might be better for you. if you have to do any ranging, especially without a calculator, i think moa is the way to go. one moa is 'roughly' one inch at 100 yds (actually an moa is 1.047 inches), but in your (or at least my) head the match is way easier than with mils. also most of the sight-in targets have one inch grids so again those are easier to match up with moa.
