I just started a new Vudoo 360 build at MCR in Denver NC. I've decided on a Atacr 7X35 but torn between reticles. I'm thinking of doing a Mil-C for a cleaner look. I dial for elevation and hold for windage anyway. Looking for some of the professionals thoughts on this subject.

Thanks in advance for the input

What are you going to use the rifle for? If any prs22/NRL matches then get a tree reticle. If just for play then anything you like.

MilC is my favorite. I also have one MilXT, it takes me a split second longer to engage a target with the MilXT.
I have three NRL/PRS 22's I practice with all three. 2 have MilC reticles one has the MilXT. I'm very comfortable with both.

It could be the model, but I have a 4-20 F1 atacr with a mil xt reticle and I don't care for it much. It seems to be very dim, I like heavy or thick reticles.
Feels like I am searching for lack of a term.

When you hit a stage where you can't dial and need to hold over and wind remember who told you to get the tree when you are holding in outer space. ;)

And if you wanted a heavier/darker reticle you should look at the Zeiss S3 6-36. Their reticle is nice and dark.

If this was for my benefit, I have one, on a Kidd, also an S5 on another Kidd. Also have ZCO and Kahles on 22LR. The Zeiss have a purpose, but far from a go to optic for me, my wife uses them. I pull them and use if travel need is a premium.

Well you stick with your go to optics but I like the Zeiss reticle better than the ZCO or the Kahles personally. I was just throwing it out there for anyone looking for a darker reticle that is easy to see,
