Rifle Scopes Nightforce rings and base selection

So, I am going to order a Nightforce F1 3.5-15X50 for my Larue .308 OBR - thank you everyone for your help and input. Now, I have 2 questions. What size rings should I get, and do I need a 20moa base if I plan on shooting this thing 1000 yards? I am assuming that I can do without one, but am not sure.

Re: Nightforce rings and base selection

Even though taht scope has 110 MOA elevation, a 20 moa mount is always a good way to go if your shooting around 100 yards and +. Nightforce has theri unimount that has 20 moa that would be a nice choice. 1 piece design and in the 1.375'' height should fit the job perfectly for you and give you an ideal optical center for your platform. B a great compliment for your new optic and rifle:

Re: Nightforce rings and base selection

The OBR has a built-in 20MOA rail. So you dont NEED an additional base. I'm running 1.375" Nightforce rings with my 50mm objective NXS on my OBR. Plenty of clearance.
