sure, the swinging door will "close" but it will never be "shut".
having a zero stop on a scope is that "shut" door that wont open both ways, which is a feature i think just makes mechanical sense in any scope.</div></div>
that is a great way of putting it. I never had a NF and bought my first one WITH a zero stop. It makes a lot of sense, especially when you don't remember to go back to zero after shooting long range. Now i just crank down until I hit my zero and the turret won't spin any more.
I'd spring for it if I were you.
