Re: Nobody puts baby in the corner (mk12)
A lot of people don't "get it" with the MK12, until they shoot one.
It's just a heck of a lot of fun, pretty dang accurate with the right barrel/ammo, pleasant with the suppressor, and offers rapid follow up shots.
Optics are a personal thing, but the MK4 M3 Leupold 3-9X36 on the Mod0 is a great choice. I've gone to a different ARMS mount (#35 base/rings) in place of the ARMS 35 rings for compatibility with the UNS, and haven't been unhappy with it (what I had in the parts box), but I do adapt well to the higher scope mounts.
And of course the Mod1 "ish" build. Also great fun, and quite accurate with the Douglas barrel (instead of the Krieger of the Mod0).
Gone through different stocks & scopes, but ended up with the PRS (got to use it on something, and I do mount the D-760 to this rig) and the tried and true old NSX 3.5-15X50 warhorse.
With the UNS on the Mod0 and the D-760 GenIII on the Douglas, they are a potent combination for night shooting.
