norinco m305

hello ive been wanting a m14 for a while but im still in high school and cant afford one. my friend recently showed me the norinco m305 with 18.5" barrel. its within my price range and seem pretty good but im just wondering what you guys think of them. also i was wondering if i could take an aftermarket stock for and m14 and put it on the norinco? thank you
