I just looked at the Norma website and noticed that the match offering is no where to be found. I wondering if the discontinued it due to the new extreme LR offering that was announced at shot or if I somehow missed it on their site.

Isn’t that what Remington calls their hot trash bulk ammo?I was under the impression that Golden Target was what they were calling their Match ammo now.

I saw it there, but when you try to buy it on their web store it’s no where to be found.

It’s all good, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done something similarLol, oops. I had searched for ".300 Norma" as I have one coming and wanted to read up on it more, of course, this thread popped up and I didn't read too closely.
Lmao, just wear the badge, first to derail, saved me from telling the op CCI SV shoots just as well!Lol, oops. I had searched for ".300 Norma" as I have one coming and wanted to read up on it more, of course, this thread popped up and I didn't read too closely.
Well that saves me a whole bunch of time and effort since I’ve got plenty of CCI SVLmao, just wear the badge, first to derail, saved me from telling the op CCI SV shoots just as well!
Have you tried an email to the company and asking? I know they are no longer just Norma, but they used to be great about answering emails.Well that saves me a whole bunch of time and effort since I’ve got plenty of CCI SV
Lol, good, now onto trying to figure out if Aus companies are going to put H4350 into artillery shells and deprive us reloaders of even more powder.
That would suck since I’ve got 6creed and 270win recipes that require H4350Lol, good, now onto trying to figure out if Aus companies are going to put H4350 into artillery shells and deprive us reloaders of even more powder.
I’ve had the same experience.I've had good results with Norma's TAC-22. Shoots a bit better in my CZ 457 then the CCI-SV.

I have seen that also and the TAC22 has some type of "R" stamp on baseI forget where I read it but it seems the tac22 is just rebranded RWS target rifle and the match22 is RWS rifle match
That’s truly a lifetime supply of ammo for that rifle. This is a target shot at 100 yards with a scoped Anschutz rifle with the Norma Match ammunition. I still have about 15,000 rounds of that ammunition left over from the 35,000 that I bought about 10-15 years ago. BTW, I'm not hoarding or reselling it. It's going to be shot.

If I have another 20 years of good shooting trips to look forward to that would be about 25-30 trips to the range each year. So let's be conservative and say that is 25 trips X 20 years = 500 trips.15000 divided by 500 rounds per range trip = 30 range trips
I mean you made the original 20k last 10-15 years, so the next 15k should go roughly another 10 yearsIf I have another 20 years of good shooting trips to look forward to that would be about 25-30 trips to the range each year. So let's be conservative and say that is 25 trips X 20 years = 500 trips.
At 500 rounds per trip I will probably go through 250,000 rounds of ammunition in the next 20 years.
Damn both of you for bringing this up. I need to get more ammo or I'll run out soon!
True but I plan on retiring and will have more time available for shootingI mean you made the original 20k last 10-15 years, so the next 15k should go roughly another 10 years
Well in that case, better get a pallet load or twoTrue but I plan on retiring and will have more time available for shooting![]()
