Except CVT is under new management by one Ed Shell, a regular here, as well as on mdshooters.com and several other boards.
He is without doubt the most knowledgeable and skilled shooter and capable teacher I've known in my life. I took a one-day class from him a few months back on precision carbine with imprecise components which was the best $200 I've spent on training in a LONG time. You too can make consecutive hits on 1/4-sized torsos out to 700 yards with a 16" M4-gery and an eotech red dot sights with M855 rounds.
I'm also proud to call him a friend, having known him since around 1997.
Ask around, you won't find better, whatever your skill level, whatever your long-range (or even close-in) needs.
I'm up in Maryland, and can get down to Louisa, VA in under 2 hours if I leave before 6 AM (beltway is killer). You're probably a half hour closer. Do meet at the Mineral Cafe for breakfast first, they make awesome biscuits and a really good cup of industrial strength (ie. NOT some "we treat our farmworkers with dignity" fair trade crap) coffee.
