Did some searches that came up with nada.

I have read in various places that nosler brass is shit. Others say its GTG. What are your experiences with it? I live close to their factory and would make things very convenient.

I am looking at 300wm brass. Will RWS ever be available in the states again?

Re: Nosler Brass

Their 300WM brass is awesome. That's all I used in my TRG. Primer pockets are still fine. I'm on 5-7 loads. I annealed the necks after the 4th loading, and they work fine. It is very consistant brass. I've heard reports of loose primer pockets in some of the 308 Win brass, but I have no direct experience with it. Nosler 300WM brass ranks up there with Lapua, and is much better than Win.

Re: Nosler Brass

I ran some .204 Ruger Nosler new, unfired brass under my Sinclair concentricity gauge w/.001" runout, compared to other calibers of Lapua at least that much or more. Beat the hell out of the Hornady factory brass I had. Of course, after firing in my Cooper or Gre-'Tan rifles, I expect runout no more than .001"-.002". If you don't get that, doesn't matter what brass you use, partner, 'cause your chamber ain't straight. "A pig in a tuxedo is still a pig!" Bruce Baer of "barrel bullet, brass" acccuracy criteria, said not to even build a rifle for long range accuracy unless Norma or Lapua makes the brass for it. I think you can add Nosler Custom to the list, from what I've seen.

Re: Nosler Brass

When I had my .300WM I used Win and Nosler brass. Both were GTG. I never had any issues with the Nosler brass, albeit a bit more expensive. In the boxes I purchased, I never had dented brass, whether body or neck. But due to packaging I suppose it could happen to some, similar to Win or Rem brass, I just never experienced it.

JLM, I haven't used their 300RUM brass. I've used the Rem brass for that caliber. If you wanted a premium brass, I wouldn't hesitate to use the Nosler brass. I really like their brass.

Re: Nosler Brass

Grumulkin, Yea I agree. The prob with nosler is they don't yet make a heavy match bullet for .30 and .30 is all I shoot. I've never really checked out their brass but think I will.
