If you look at exhibition grade English walnut blanks, they will run you upwards of a grand themselves, plus the cost for labor, parts, and time and 7500 is not a bad price. In fact, it is rather reasonable considering some mass produced rifles such as blasers are going for upwards of 50,000 on gunbroker. Granted, the blaser that is selling for upwards of 50 G's is a nice rifle, but not 50 G's worth of nice. Some shotguns such a Krieghoffs are going for 10K for their base model and upwards of 80,000 for some of their exclusive models. I am not saying I have any desire for anyone of the above, but to have what amounts to a one off rifle (he builds them when he can between building knives from what he said in the thread) 7500 is not a bad price to pay. People on this site have some stuff that goes for far more than that. To each there own. I just thought it was quite the display of craftsmanship to design, forge, shape, and fit every last piece of that rifle. Awesome.
