Whats up folks. Just wanted to say hey and finally intro myself.
Ive actually been a member here since '04 but Ive always been in the shadows, lurking in the background where I usually am, rarely noticed and usually not remembered.
U S Army vet of 8 years, 11B. Between Berlin and Campbell I spent all 8 in the 101st. Iron RAKKASANS. My last unit was BCo 3/187th. I enjoyed it alot but was injured and had to get out.
Always been a shooter. Dad bought me my first gun for my 12th Bday and no it wasnt a .22, it was a Ruger Redhawk .357. I was a rather large 12 year old. Honestly I think dad wanted it but had to tell mom it was for me. and of course as is usually the case when kids a taught right from wrong, respect for and proper use and handling of firearms, that started a lifelong passion that I still enjoy almost 40 years later.
Seems to be a great collection of knowledge here and I always enjoy reading and learning what I can from you guys though many of you are way beyond me. Probably why I am usually lurking in the background. Better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove any doubt.
