Going to start with that I know I will need a gun smith. I think I have one within an hours drive that I think can do the work. Options are almost none existent around Traverse City Michigan. Have to ask him when I go to check on my suppressor my next days off. Does barrel fluting so going to guess he can do the work.
As far as what is needed to take to him, I am unsure.

Barrel threaded for my Sandman Ti. In jail at the same gun smith I would be taking this to.

Am I missing anything? Will it all work together? I know little about building bolt guns as you can tell, but compared to an AR it just seems like such a small parts list.

Almost walked out of Gander with a Savage Model 10 Stealth in 308 or 6.5 Creed. Chassis was nice, would rather get exactly what I want though.

I think that sounds right. The chassis should take care of the bottom metal and magazine. The chassis should include the action screws. Do you have trigger pins?

Defiance actions typically come with pins. You can always ship off your INSURED parts to a known good smith instead of rolling the dice. Do some research/ask questions. That would be my advice.

Thanks for the assurance. Action comes with the trigger pins, so I'm good there.
Definitely going to talk to the smith first, maybe ask to see some work before I hand him roughly $2,500 in parts.

This is not happening in a month, but one of those buy the item as funds allow builds.
Guess if I post back it will be asking for gun smith advice.
