Noveske 16" chrome barrel lo pro ?

Any members own and if so, please provide opinions on reliability, build quality, etc. Also,do not see weight on website - heavy rifle?

Thanks for any input or providing other rifles to look at. Primary uses will be or shooting paper from 25-100 yards, plinking, and home defense. Also looking at LMT MRP CQB16 - but it seems heavy - will be able to handle see the lo pro Sat.

Are you sure you handled the MRP CQB? I think they are quite lite and handy, even in the piston version. I am building a Noveske 16" barreled upper with the PRI forearm right now and so far it seems like it is going to be quick on target.

Well, got a chance to handle/see etc Noveske lo pro - heavier than I think I would like - heavier than LMT CQB MRP 16 - at least to my feel,
Also got to handle/see LWRC M6A2 with 14.5 barrel - <$2k. So, with Noveske heavier than I want what are comments on following

LMT MRP CQB16 DI
LMT MRP CQB16 Piston
LWRC M6A2 with 14.5 barrel piston
or a Noveske with 14.5 barrel

Don't want to make this a DI vs short stroke piston issue - best bang for buck, reliability, quality, etc. Thnx

A MRP CQB or Rifle length chassis combined with a LMT/Rock CL or SS model is really a special and truly unmatched platform in numerous areas. Really tons of stuff on the other forums on these.

Noveske makes a great stick and any model usually will serve the end user very well.

I will leave LWRC for someone else to perhaps weigh in about that is more educated than me on them.

LMT MRP CQB16 DI, easy and reasonable to change out barrels. The monolithic is where ARs are going in the future but none except the LMT allow you to change out a barrel in 2 minutes. You could go with the piston but it does add weight.

looking at the quality of your picks the only other rifle that I can think of would be the Daniel Defense with the hammer forged pencil barrel.

i bought the 14.5 version upper, granted i don't think i would ever use it enough to find out how "reliable" it is but mine has about 2k rounds through it and i never had any issues, as far as quality? i think you could do much much worse, and get very little better but YMMV
