Anybody had both to play with? Potentially looking to put a Seekins IMRT-3 upper together. It will serve a SHTF or “fighting gun” role but also would like it to be accurate and be able to stretch its legs from time to time. Probably do 16” Barrel with 15” SP3 and will get a Razor Gen 2 1-6. I’ve had a 18” and 16” Noveske match barrels in the past that have been absolute hammers with Mk262. What’s the verdict on Seekins Match barrels accuracy and function wise?

You need to look at Criterion Barrels. All of their barrels are handlapped before chrome lining and are extremely accurate and last forever. All of my fighting guns run Criterion’s. Even my 10.5” Criterion is routinely sub moa. Go research and tell me what you think.

I use Noveske for SBR's. Why not for longer ones? Most of my longer ones use something custom or specific, like a 20" 6.5G Satern bbl. or a 16" Lilja recce rifle barrel. The longer ones are more or less made to be tack drivers. I prefer cut rifle for precision and if you can get a Satern that'll fit, if they have an over -run, GET IT! You won't be sorry, promise. Lilja is known to be among the best button rifled barrels on the market and are pretty quick. Krieger is another I'd look at.

Noveske makes great SBR barrels, they're heavy duty and accurate. But they make great barrels in general, and they usually come with a pin on gas block and a matched bolt, both big pluses. They function great without gimmicks, a JP Ent. FMOS carrier is nice but not necessary. All of my centerfire SBR's use Noveske barrels and they're all right around 1MOA. 5.56, .300BLK, doesn't matter. None I have are sub-MOA consistently but none shoot much greater than that with the right ammo either.

LMT makes a decent chrome lined barrel too. Their basic 14.5 M4 barrel, I have two LMT M4's, they are around 1-1.5MOA and for the cost not bad. The LMT M4 is identical to the military M4 but a little higher quality IMO/E
