Given the $500 and then $1000 rebate I think it's pretty safe to say a new model is coming. My guess is like the Leica 2800 it will add bluetooth integration, which really has been a long time coming. However I'd also imagine the price will go up, maybe $3500, and you won't see them on sale for a year. Happy to be wrong though, Leica feel free to bring it out for $2000.
