ASGH. Nothing actually productive or good anyway. We did see that more people would rather it go to shit a little slower.

Lol are we talking about the same guy who wanted to take peoples guns away his last term? Didn't he recently lose a court case for banning bump stocks? He didn't do shit his last term, he isn't doing anything this term unless it's to add more restrictions. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't push another AWB through if we have another mass shooting on a large scale. The guys a populist, not a true conservative, his history on spending along with taxation and a number of other things just highlight this.

All that will happen is you'll see the same we saw with Medicare with Medicare advantage and Medicare money going to large insurance companies. Lets screw with healthcare in this country more while we are at it! I haven't looked it up in a while but each person on Medicare advantage gets the insurer around $900 per month in federal tax dollars before any services are even rendered last time I looked into it.

Can you provide one time while he was president in his last term that shows he has any desire to do anything mentioned above? Did people not live from 2016-2020? Am I the only one who recalls how everything was the same as the last 20 years prior? If anything we saw things get a little better in 2024 with the speeding up of approvals on eform 4s approvals taking only days instead of a year.

The options for gun control changes are limited in that the Senate Democrats still have the filibuster and the Republicans aren't dumb enough to get rid of it. So any new pro-gun laws are going to have at least a few Democrats on board which is going to limit things to small changes or ones with some real compromises we might not like. Imagine giving Democrats universal background checks in return for repealing the NFA.
Our best bet for positive change is going to be more Federal Judges that support the US Constitution. I also would like to see Thomas and Alito step down after the 2025 term ends and President Trump appoint two really young, really conservative, and rabidly small government justices. It would be nice if both were very strongly pro Second Amendment as well.
Or we could really win the lottery and sometime in February of 2025 a drunk illegal immigrant gets in a car accident with Sotomayor and Kagan and kills them both and suddenly we have eight of nine conservative Supreme Court Justices...

I am actually wondering if Sotomayor is going to step down within the next few days so that Biden can appoint a replacement. She has known health issues and if she dies within the next 4 years it will give conservatives seven of the nine Supreme Court justices. However, just like RGB, I suspect that the power and prestige of the position will be just too much to give up.
