Night Vision NV monocular with eotechs

I am looking to get a good NV monocular and am wondering how practical it is to use with eotechs- not mounted but while using a headset. Is this reasonably doable with quick aquisition or does the NV need to be mounted to gun or used with a IR laser? Never delt with NV before and just want to know what I am getting myself into. Any feedback would be great...

I have found that with 21s , Eotech and a little practice you can be as fast as naked eye day time. As long as you can see your target.

You need to adjust your eotech so it does not obscure your target, but still be able to see the reticule.

I have not used the 14s for this drill, not sure if you will get the same result, as the objective is inline with your eye. On the 21s the objective is infront of your cheek, and its easy to align behind the eotech with out contorting your head.

I will give it a try with a set of 14s and let you know in a day or 2.
