These are produced and waiting on the shelf, but awaiting .gov approval before "We the People" sales are allowed. LE agencies can purchase though. Approval should be right around the corner. At first I didn't see much of a use for the IR laser but it's uses keep popping up the more I use it. A lot of times when I hunt I wear it on a helmet and carry a handheld thermal for detection, and let buddies or whoever I am with do the fun part. It is a lot easier to point things out in that situation with the built in class one IR laser than it is to say "Over there by that tree....no the other tree...no no no...by the tree with the hog running away!"

I think it certainly has it's merits for LE as well, namely in surveillance situations where an officer may need to point something out to a team member, but the subject has not done anything yet to deserve being flagged with a loaded weapon.

For some reason it didn't upload in HD, which sucks because it took FOREVER! I can still barely talk on camera, but we are getting there. On the upside, this one isn't near as long and drawn out.
