Trying to sort out what I have in order to trouble shoot it.
I have an older scs installed in a mega maten.
Criterion barrell. 18" Rl gas
Lmos/bolt
Superlative agb
A2stock
The scs has two steel weights and the trapezoidall/conical polymer bumper. I see that the newer version uses a flat bumper and more weights
The gun initially ran as though super overgassed (stove piping) and it responded reasonably well to more spring rate and more gas bypass. It runs, but seems to be light on gas and still overspeed. I'll occasionally wind up with an empty case on top of mag after bolt locks back.
I suspect it needs more Buffer Mass but Not sure what this scs part is or where to start.
Tired of jps hold Music so thought I'd give you all a try. What weights are you seeing on current scs for Ar10. What shape. Is the plastic. Bumper? Does this matter? Does anyone have any steel takeoff weights they want to sell?
