Gunsmithing Oil Cleaning Rod Bearings?

Does anyone oil the bearings of their cleaning rod to keep it spinning nicely?
I have a boretech rod, but not sure if it's sealed or even possible to oil.

It's squeaky occasionally which had me wonder.

I always have a can of CRC food grade silicon spray I use on my meat grinders and slicer also use it for things like you just mentioned.
Non toxic and no chemical smells and no cross contamination.
If it's squeaking give it a little lube.
I have always used Dewey and never had any squeak or bind in any way.
