Night Vision Old NV scope value

Hey guys, my friend owns an ATN MK7900 paladin gen3a night vision scope that he has been letting me borrow for a couple years to hunt with him. I recently made the switch to thermal and he is looking to sell the scope now. The problem is, we have no idea what its worth. It works perfectly and has all the original equipment (case, IR, tools, etc) its a fixed 5x gen 3 unit and looks really good at night (especially with IR) and i believe back in 07 when it was bought new the damn thing was around $3800....i cant find any comparables out there for sale and figured it would be worth throwing on here to see if anyone has any experience with values on these units. I can tell you that I recently sold an older 740 Gen 3 NV scope for $1,500. As I recall my ask was around $1,700.
So I am thinking something south of that for ATN.

I was figuring somewhere in the 1200 range as a guess. I'll probably let him deal with it..pretty sure he heavily overpaid for it a few years back

Today’s market is batshit crazy. He may be surprised what people are willing to pay for it. I’d post it at $1600, sit back, and watch what happens.
