I have a Olympic arms 243 wssm upper, stainless 24" barrel, Midwest industry free float quad rail, sun devil milled lower, ior 30mm steel rings (high) and a falcon menace 5.5-25-50 scope. Well today I went to sight it in and check some accuracy of different loads. First time to shoot the gun. And first shot was really low so I just kept shooting and adjusting more elevation until I bottomed the scope out and it is still shooting 13" low at 100 yrds!! What could cause it to shoot this low??
I put the quad rail on the gun, could this have affected the point of impact that much if I screwed something up?
