So you either love Tarantino or you hate him.

I like movies by certain directors, and he's one of the ones I like.

The movie, without giving too much away, is just a fun story about a fictional actor's career during the 60's and his friendship with his stuntman (no, not gay). Lots of actors like McQueen and Sharon Tate are portrayed, it's really cool actually. It is of course a Tarantino movie so it doesn't follow history to a T or even a squiggly line, but it's a great story and I think one of his best yet, he just keeps getting better. Just some masterful scenes, camerawork and music --I'd be surprised if it doesn't win awards.

    Definitely worth a watch.

Akin to inglorious basterds, in once upon a time in Hollywood, Tarantino offers an alternate universe of fantasy that is not only funny as shit but satisfying to watch. I started this movie with low expectations but I really enjoyed it.
Brad Pitt is a funny ass dude in a bunch of the movies he’s done (maybe not seven and Benjamin button), and he was pretty funny in this one too.

This was my favorite movie of 2019

    Ditto.

Enjoyed the alternate history ending. Somehow satisfying watching the pit eat the bitch. ?

Actually bought it because it was $5.99 to rent or $9.99 to buy from Apple.

Big QT fan. Like 'em all but the Kill Bill series. Just didn't do it for me.

The ending was my favorite, the wife and I just bursted out into full on laughter in the theater during the ending scene! I love QT's revisionist twists on history.

I have not seen it yet but I’m pretty excited as Mike Moh, the up and coming martial arts actor that played Bruce Lee in the movie is a long time personal friend. I need to get around to watching this soon.

My best friends wife was on American Idol like 5 years ago.....I hate that show with a passion, but on this particular night I couldn't wait to see her perform on TV. I can't imagine waiting this long after a movie has released to see a personal friend perform in it. Maybe some people are just more excited to see people they value being successful at things.

On the other hand, I drove to Houston to help a friend that got flooded in the Hurricane they had down there a few years ago. Some friend of their's put them up in their $10Mil ocean front house for a few weeks as they were going to their Hollywood home to work on a movie. I met the person, shook her hand and then found out she was a famous actress on a TV show. I kinda thought, meh, who cares. Looked her up, looked up her show, but never watched it. I wouldn't call her a personal friend though........just some chick I shook hands with and then during the weekend shit in her toilet.
