Sidearms & Scatterguns One of the last 1911 I built and the only engraved

Here is one of the last 1911 pistols I build and the only engraved one (nope i didnt engrave). Apart from obvious things like Bomar sights, barsto barrel, chequering (also on the backstrap).
I did also mill the sliderails parallel and true, after that the rails in the frame was welded away and new rails was milled.
Some care and attention has also been spent on dehorning the gun.

Very nice except for that tiny, little, "I sit down to pee," 9mm-sized hole in the barrel!!!

All joking aside...that is a VERY nice looking Colt 1911, Håkan!!

Out of curiosity, what is the writing/symbol on the right-hand side of the slide, behind the rear slide serrations?

The last company I worked for was Defendor AB that was a gunsmithing company at a time. Their logo was one of those stoneinscriptions that we find in the rocks that is some thousend years old( sorry don't know it's name)
