I can offer a brief synopsis of what has happened to our country: Simply put, we have lost the rule of law and primary the law of the land - The Constitution of the United States of America is left nearly shredded.
When there is no rule of law the penalty for many crimes will be death.
Agreed. Until people decide they have had enough and change their ways leading away from the violence and back to a Reawakening of a culture of Getting along again. Not sure how long that would take tho.

Goes quiet, f it not worth calling in.
Jaw on corner with neighbor and wife get big white dog out of house for some play on the leash.
Walk dog a block and back dog locks up on movement in the dark, hackles up starts a low growl. I quite him and see a man in dark / black, walking, stumbling talking loud and crazy head into church courtyard accross the street.
3 squad cars respond to my call of a vagrant, per thier request recently.

Yeah, it’s hot in Croatia. The coast and the islands are really, really nice. The locals are all young enough to have experienced the war and they want no part of anything like it, ever again. I suspect the gun laws are probably very strict. Never saw (never looked for) any gun shops/shooting ranges when I’ve been there. Very civilized, very nice people. Never saw any cops, other than when I was in an airport.

We’ve looked at bare boating down the Dalmatian coast. We usually do BVI just because we don’t have the time to do Croatia right. The sailing distances are a lot farther with full days underway, whereas you can be anywhere in the BVI in a few hours (except) Anagada. When we retire and can take a month or more it’s one of the first things we’ll do...assuming there is still a USA by that time.

I get the felony charge for the FA trigger groups if they are installed, but how deep is the charge for having in your possession a recently made firearm that doesn’t have a serial number cataloged by an importer or manufacturer?

It depends on the State. Most states follow Federal law, so home build guns are allowed, without serial numbers until/if you decide to sell it (must be registered before sale). You are allowed up to three home build guns per year, without requiring a manufacturer’s license (and without intent to sell).
At least unless something recent has changed (like here in California), you should be fine in Texas.

It is very possible the Democrat/Communist/SJW/BLM/ANTIFA cabal and their paid goons are working very hard to try to get a "violent" response from the side of decent folks.
So far it really hasn't worked out as they hoped and they haven't been able to get the great propaganda shots they wanted.
IF this is the case and IF the decent folks are able to avoid being forced to directly engage, give this unrest and mayhem a few more months and it may turn out to totally blow up in the Democrat/Communist faces as everybody left that actually works for a living slowly migrates to the F.... This, we need a bit of law and order so we can actually pay the bills.
Much like that CHOP place, it was left to it's own devices and became so bad, killing too many Blacks, that the Communist loving mayor was forced to shut it down after championing it so hard.
That being said, I REALLY think folks on the good and decent side should go dig out the history books and documentaries and actual footage and study up on the rise of the National Socialist Party in Germany. The tactics, organization structure, action structure, and political response from the politicians looks strikingly similar. Just instead of "Brown Shirts" we have 'Black Hoodies".

I've said that on a half dozen threads. The similarities between this and the Weimar Republic are striking. The SA could not have seized control without the complicity of a lot of mayors and police chiefs. Aunt Tiffa is really becoming the military wing of the Democrat party. Why else would they either pretend they don't exist, or pretend these are "peaceful" riots.

Idk about Antifa being in total cahoots with the liberals. I think Antifa/BLM/the Squad and the Democrats that defend them are all part of the same cesspool. Antifa only sides with the Right at pro gun rallies so they can keep their newly acquired guns to defeat us with. If they were to prevail there would be infighting for hierarchy and power with the Muslims fighting for top spot who would then quickly turn on the liberal homos, lesbians and anyone that didn't bow to Sharia Law.
Ask the mayor of Portland how well Leftist Democrat politicians get along with ANTIFA protesters.
