If this has been previously posted I missed it.
Edit: Apparently was posted by a member on a vacation, but I had resolved to disregard any post from that person.
previously posted by Quickndirty, but never debunked. There's a lot wrong with that presser.
I've been biting my through this train wreck of a thread, but that presser pissed me off.
For starters the Chief (Brian Manley) called it a homicide???
Wait, what you questioned shooter, let him go & are calling this a homicide! Semantics matter there Chief.
Then again it may have been an honest slip indicating how he really feels & inside knowledge the DA is hell bent to make an example of shooter. From his gov biography page "he led a delegation of APD officers during the 2009 Presidential Inauguration in Washington DC " Hmm?
Next we have..........We will be conducting an autopsy to determine official
cause and
manner of death! Really..........maybe it's actually Covid with a pre-existing condition of 4-5 gun shot wounds.
Then he praises officers for running towards the gunfire. Good on the officers, but he leaves out that per his orders, they were pulled back to begin with.
If this Ass-hat had let the officers do their job and keep protestors to a defined controlled area, instead of marching down the middle of the fucking streets & harassing passers by, this could have been prevented.
He said the officers were following the march (again I'll bet per his orders) instead of controlling it.
This dickhead represents a big part of the real problem with law enforcement Chief = appointed vs Sheriff = elected. This shit typically doesn't fly in Sheriff's jurisdictions.
Chiefs set stupid ROE's for officers based one who their beholden too, and in a City like Austin, Potland, & Seattle that'd be leftist Demonicrat scum.
Chief Manley's job was threatened until he fell in line to his fellow comrades.
