I don't know if I showed this picture before or not? It's my one station - 3 stage 100 yard setup I used this passed summer when shooting from the setting position with a couple of my scoped .22lr's.
This actually was pretty fun.
Stage 1 - 5 shots at clays
Stage 2 - 5 shots at the pop can gong
Stage 3 - 10 shots at the NRA TQ-4 paper target
I really enjoyed this setup, and I feel I improved my sitting
position shooting quite a bit. Those at the range that saw this setup commented on how they were going to make the same thing - but I don't believe they ever did... At least I didn't see anyone bring their own version out.
Anyway, it was fun times. I Can't hardly wait until we get some decent weather in these parts so I can hit the Range again. I don't mind the wind as much as I mind the 20 degree temps and the wind-chill that comes with it...
I'm also thinking this same setup will be good for 200 yards. The clays will be challenging, but doable.
