Here. These always seem to get a good recommendation. I have never used one.
You didn't specify exactly which Beretta you were looking to purchase...but try Joel Etchen in PA. The do a LOT of very high end trap/skeet/sporting guns, but it is also where I have purchased my last couple of A400 duck guns. They are the largest Beretta dealer in the country.

So far, my visits to them and phone calls have yielded an "All Around" Silver Pigeon 3 (pictured above), a 20ga/28ga 2 barrel set Silver Pigeon 3, and a 28ga/.410 Silver Pigeon 2, all in the sporting configuration, then a 28ga Silver Pigeon 1 for my "beater ruffed grouse gun." They are super good people and can help you spend money.
One other thought about something random that Beretta does - The butt pad on these shotguns is replaceable, specific to the line (12ga 687 sporting is not necessarily compatible with the 12ga 692) and there are either 3 or 4 thickness options that vary by ~.3". The odd thing is that Beretta seems to randomly choose which one to put on any specific gun. If you are particular about the LOP - and I assume you are if you came to a sub forum of a sniper forum to ask about a $2k+ shotgun - ask Matt or Rebecca about measuring the LOP on whatever gun/wood you choose and then sending a few other options. They're not cheap, but I believe they will ship them with your gun for free and you can *probably* send back the ones you don't like. Make sure to explain your plan to them ahead of time, but I seem to remember that they'll do this for you.

Unfortunately not, It's a 692 Sporting Black. A DT is coming someday, I can't justify a 5 digit shotgun at the moment. Maybe if I only shot clays and sold off my rifles, optics, and pistols, but I like to do it all.
I'll work my way to it eventually, my current line up is an 18 year old 686E, a 686 Onyx Pro Sporting, and now this 692 Sporting Black.

Y'all are killing me with these beautiful shotguns! My pretty shotguns are citoris and they're nothing like what's posted above. Maybe one day.
My son joined a shotgun team. I got him a 686 SP I Sporting. Hope to have it in hand in a few days. Not fancy, but a lot nicer than what I grew up using. I just got done changing my 391 stock to cast on for his left handedness to hold him over for another week. Kids now don't have a clue how good they have it.

I shot 4H Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays with an old HK Benelli M1S90 that my dad had. Didn't get a nice O/U until I was grown. Good on you for getting him into shooting sports.

If and when my kid starts to shoot, I'm going to hand him an autoloader. My dad didn't know better and screwed me up pretty bad with an 870 Express (he got himself an 11-87) and HEAVY/HOT 1-1/8 oz trap loads that were loaded in a family friend's basement, that he assured us would hit hard and make a man out of me. The flinch I developed took a lot of years to overcome and I still shy away from anything with heavy recoil.
I reload now and I shoot 3/4 oz 12 ga loads for skeet and trap. They're so light that they wouldn't cycle my older A400 Xtreme duck gun, but they cycle my new Xtreme and Xcel just fine. Sometimes, if I'm feeling bold, I'll load 7/8 oz loads, to make sure they cycle a friend's gun, but that is not often.
If 24 grams (~7/8oz) is good enough for international competition, it should be more than adequate for high school kids.
