Rifle Scopes Opinions needed on a mil/mil illum POF308

Hello fellow SH folks, and Happy Turkey Day!

I am looking for opinions needed on a mil/mil illuminated optics for POF P-308-16-MRR-308 RECON. This will be for CQC with distance of 200 yards occasionally beyond. I may being using this occasionally at low light conditions and budget is not a huge concern.

I have narrowed my search to the following and would appreciate opinions:

Sightron SIII 3.5-10x56 SIIISS3510X56LRIR4A
Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x44Reticle: MilDot IR
Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44
Valdada 1.5 - 8 x 26 35 mm Tactical Rifle Scope, CQB Reticle

Eric,

Of your choices, the first two I would consider unsuitable to CQC (as least my definition thereof) and are not MIL/MIL; the third does not exist yet. Leaving only your fourth choice the IOR.

Since budget is not a huge concern have you considered:

S&B 1.1-4x20 Short Dot
USO SN-4 1.5-6
USO SN-3 1.8-10
Nightforce 2.5-10x32mm

All are better choices for a variety of reasons (relating more to quality than performance) than the first 4 you have selected.

Do a search for "NightForce" and you'll find a ton of topics. I plan to mount a NightForce 5.5-22x56mm on my POF 20". The glass is superb as is the warranty/customer service.
