Gunsmithing Opinions on bedding methods for my rifle...

Remington 700 in a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock. The stock already has an aluminum bedding block with the pillars in it. We have machined the block and such to accept the Badger Ordinance M5 bottom metal.

Should I skim/glass bed the rifle and call it good?

Should I drill out the pillars and such and pillar bed the action into the stock?

Should I just leave it alone?

I am comfortable doing the bedding myself. I have read the tutorials and it seems pretty straight forward. And I assume that if I do any bedding that it will space the action off the stock some so a little more inletting will need to be done for the DBM right?

how does it shoot? If it shoots good why mess with something that aint broke? If you must bed it id pillar and skim bed it

Skim bed it only. It has an aluminum bedding block so there's no reason to pillar bed it. Unless, of course, pillar holes were drilled for the Badger bottom metal. Then you don't have much of a choice.
