Rifle Scopes Optic 4 Christensen Arms MPR 6.5 Creedmoor

My father picked up a new Christensen Arms MPR in 6.5 Creedmoor w. 24 inch barrel. This is his first precision rifle actually. What optic would you recommend for it? He is using it just for plinking and maybe some long range classes, that we intend to take together. He is about 70 years old, his eyes are still pretty good. But he struggles a little in low light situations. I want something that will compliment this rifle, that wont be ridiculous overkill, or underkill. Kind of the sweet spot for this particular rifle. Leupold MK8 3.5-25 unilluminated (for budget reasons. However, with his eyes, the illumination may be ideal?)

For the price and intended use, it would be hard not to recommend the Razor.

I've had both, and found the Gen 2 to be worth it. Scott @ Liberty Optics seems to have the best price on new. PX normally has good deals on pre-owned.
