Spotters Optic protection on tripod

So at a match this past weekend, a big wind gust blew over a ton of tripods, mine included. Broke an eyepiece is all, so it'll be fine. Has me thinking it would be nice to have some sort of cap you could slip over the top of your binos/RF or whatever while you are shooting a stage or away from your set up. Coletac makes the "shower cap" which would be about perfect if it had a layer of padding to protect from tip overs. Anybody have any ideas or something I'm missing?

I started hanging my backpack from the center hook. If it’s Wyoming windy, I’ll hang my pack and also dip (shorten) the windward leg a smidge.

I shot the same match, but I've been here before having shot Hornady for four years in a row.

Hang your Gamechanger or backpack from the hook, or lay it down when you aren't there to hang onto it.

I started hanging my GameChanger from it, and should do the backpack. I just think some sort of a padded cap with a cinch would be handy to throw on top for when laying it down or moving from stage to stage.

Like this, but with a bit of padding. Waterproof would be a bonus.

You're already carrying your pack. Just hang out for ballast, or drop it down.
