Rifle Scopes Optics to go along with Larue OBR 18" - ?Horus

Hi, excuse the ignorance but I was looking for some help in deciding on which scope to buy. I have finally decided after researching for months to buy a Larue OBR 18". Now I need to start looking at optics. I am looking to shoot (eventually) up to probably 800 yards or so. Anyways, any recommendations would be appreciated. Was hoping to spend less than $1,500, but I have some wiggle room.

Also, I have seen a used 18" OBR with a Horus Falcon 5-20/50mm, Horus H-37 reticle. I have read good reviews about this scope, with some complaints about the zero stop, and complaints of being able to see in low light conditions. Any specific recommendations about this scope?

Thank you.

my spotter was holding 9.7mils (baro press 29.3, 70degrees faren. and about 50% humidity) with his 16"OBR. He was shooting a horus falcon. If you only need to get out to 800 yards you don't need a H37 you can use a H25 which has just over 9 mils at 20 power. I'd also call and see it the H58 is available in the falcon yet. If you aren't going much farther then 800 yards you will be fine with 9 mils, if you need a few more just power down to 15 power and you are golden. The H37 is for extreme ranges and it sux shooting close targets with a reticle 2/3 of the way up the scope. Then save up and get the Atrag ballistic program. It's worth every penny.

I recommend a US Optics 1.8-10x37 for the OBR. It is what I went with on mine, and a great AR optic:

A bit over budget but not by a whole lot, and it's not like it is a $800 rifle.

Until the Vortex Viper PST's come out I think the Bushnell 3-12x44 FFP is the best scope on the market for the money. They are usually less than $700.What a useful(versatile} moderately priced scope!I don't have any complaints with mine.

Also I like the new Gen 4 IOR's too.I have 6-24x56.It still impresses me every time I use it.The IOR 3-18x50 is a scope that's feature full per dollar spent.

I use the nightforce 5.5-22 x 56 in the supplied larue mount it is high enough to clear the bois, I did not search a lot but after a quick search larue had the scope for the best price, I think right at 1500, most folks would say it is to high powered but I like a lot of magnification at times and the 11 setting for the reticle is a good average, one thing is for a good cheek weld you need a stock with a riser, I use a magpul PRS adjusted all the way up and added 3/8 inch foam to be high enough

SN3 with anti-cant (internal buble level) a must...

I've got a Trijicon TA11H-308 Trijicon TA11H-308
Just hit 755meters this AM. Bullet drop compensator is dead on with 168gr ammo, but awful close with everything else. Fiber optic illum during day and tritium at night.

Is your OBR 7.62? Mine is OBR 556 with 16" barrel. I'm considering same scope you have. What options did you get? I am considering SN3 with pretty much standard features.
