So I got a T3x CTR recently and it weighed about 10 lbs with the scope on, but it was very front heavy in my opinion. I filled the stock with about 6 lbs of lead and now my gun weighs about 16 lbs. The center of mass went from about 7.5 inches from the trigger to about 4 inches from the trigger. It is easier to handle offhand now, but would a more forward center of gravity work better for supported positions? For instance, such as off a bipod?
Picture of my gun. The old center of mass was about 2 inches in front of the magazine well, while the new center of mass is at about the middle of the magazine well.
